Education
On February 2004 I have joined the Department of Informatics at Alexander Technological Institute of Thessaloniki, where I have graduated with the title of Software Engineer on October 2008. I have completed my undergraduate thesis for e-banking with the title of e-BANKING: problems, perspectives and their impact on Greece. Being a travel lover I have joined the Faculty of Information and Technology of Leeds Metropolitan University between September 2006 and February 2007 as a Socrates Erasmus Student in Computer Science. That period I gained my first experience in digital world by attending Motion Capture and 3DMAX Studio classes.
After that, digital world became part of my daily life.
On May 2011 I was certified from Adobe with the title of Adobe Photoshop Certified Associate by gaining knowledge on creative control in image editing and composition, management and color correction and correct use of digital tools. On June 2013, as I wanted to gain detailed knowledge about graphic design she started Adobe Illustration classes where I was certified two months later. I have attended several Digital Masterclasses such as Digital Copywrite, UX Research Methods, Design Thinking e.t.c
Working Experience
UX Leader at UX Lab March 2019 - present | Vodafone Group
Always been an advocate of the Human-centered design process, I provide UX Leadership and Direction to the Greek designer team and related members (POs, CX) by setting up and drive the UX Lab inside Vodafone Greece. The primary objective of the UX lab is to provide user-driven answers about future or currently designed features. Its goal is to test whether an idea or prototype design is well accepted by the users and why. Following the UX Lab’s manifesto all designers and customer experience specialists can now discover, define, design and evaluate an existing or an upcoming feature and idea.
Senior UI/UX Designer February 2016 - present | Vodafone Group
As a Senior UI/UX Designer, I am working under group guidelines in order to give customers what they want plus what they need. I create and evaluate visual assets, user flows and experiences for Vodafone digital products through agile scrum process. Taking part in creative concepts for new and existing products that align with users, product and clients aim. The successful launch of Vodafone Shake it game through My Vodafone app boosted my creativity and increased customer loyalty as well as app downloads. Currently I am working on Contract Renewal for Vodafone customers through digital channels.
Lead Web Designer May 2014 - January 2016 | hellas online
On May 2014 I have joined the Technology department of hellas online(hol) telecommunications group as a Lead Web designer. One of the achievements I consider major, was to redesign and redevelop the hellas on line web portal according to Vodafone group guidelines after the merge of two companies. The project offered cross browser compatibility and a responsive logo which is managed by few Vodafone group worldwide.
Web Designer June 2011 - April 2014 | VCI
Between 2011 - 2014 I was working as a Web designer under the design team for VCI (Velti Center of Inovvation), currently Motivian. I was responsible for designing web and mobile applications for major telco such as Vodafone (Greece and FYROM), Cosmote (Greece and Albania) and Wind. My expertise included also design for iPhone and Android applications. Between May 2012 - October 2012 I was involved in the HTML redesign of the whole Vodafone online portal according to company's new guidelines, for which Vodafone was awarded. I have also participated in the design and implementation of numerous mobile web sites for hotels and spa through Velti's builder tool DIG.
Software Engineer-Intern April 2008 - December 2011 | Velti
I have started as an Intern in the Mobile Professional Services (MPS) department and continued as a User Interface Developer and Software Engineer in the same department and afterwards in the Performance Marketing Solutions department. I was responsible for the front end development (HTML/XML/XSL and CSS) of wap and mobile web portals. For all the above projects I was also responsible for the content editing tasks through Content Management System. I have also participated in the implementation of Ethniki Asfalistiki Insurance project (web and iphone application) with the use of HTML5, through 5ml tool.
